Vision
Astitva was created with the intention of offering a space that moves beyond survival - towards existence.
Astitva was born from a simple but deeply meaningful intention: to create a space where you do not have to perform, fix yourself, or have everything figured out before you begin... In a world that often asks you to be more, do more, and move faster, Astitva invites you to slow down, reconnect, and simply be.
How We Work
At Astitva, we don’t see you as someone who needs to be fixed. We see you as someone who deserves to be understood.
You might be coming in with confusion, overwhelm, or experiences that feel difficult to put into words and that’s okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
Your emotional safety is at the center of how we work. We aim to create a space that feels warm, steady, and non-judgmental, where you can show up as you are, without pressure to perform, explain everything at once, or make immediate sense of what you’re feeling.
We move at a pace that feels right for you. Some sessions may involve talking, some may involve pauses, reflection, or simply sitting with what’s coming up.
There is room here for both expression and silence, for uncertainty and clarity.
Rather than rushing the process or trying to fix what you’re feeling, we focus on gently understanding your experiences, exploring patterns, and building awareness in a way that feels supportive and manageable.
Our work draws from trauma-informed care, body-based awareness, and creative exploration, helping you feel more connected, grounded, and emotionally regulated over time.
You don’t have to do this perfectly. You just have to begin.

Hello, myself Vishwa
I am a trauma-informed counselling psychologist and certified art therapist based in Ahmedabad. My work is rooted in creating spaces where people feel safe enough to slow down, explore their inner world, and reconnect with themselves.
In my work, I draw from trauma-informed care and integrate somatic and body-based practices, along with art and narrative approaches. This allows therapy to be flexible and collaborative, shaped around your unique experiences and needs.
I believe that healing does not happen in isolation. It happens in relationships where you feel seen, heard, and understood. While therapy may involve sitting with difficult emotions, I also believe there is room for moments of lightness and humour, making the process feel more human and approachable.
At the heart of my work is a genuine interest in understanding who you are beyond your struggles. My hope is that through this process, you feel more connected, grounded, and emotionally regulated over time.
If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy but feel unsure, we can begin gently, one step and one conversation at a time. 🌻
